OCTOBER @ Highland!

Happy Fall!
During October, our prek-2nd graders learned about Moses - starting from when he was a baby up to crossing the sea.  Our third graders continued their trek through the Bible and many earned their Bible covers!  Congratulations!  Our 4th and 5th graders are in the middle of a 13 week study on Paul and the Prophets.  They have gone through Romans, Colossians, Phillipians, 1 Corinthians, Ephesians and 1 Kings while talking about faith, love, joy, unity and diversity.

Our 4th and 5th grade TNT group had a great time reading the letters from their Grandpals and responding.  Then they did some bottle-flipping!  Check out the video and blogpost...we had a lot of fun!

We also had our first of two Circle of Grace lessons.  The teachers did an excellent job with a very well written curriculum and the conversations were wonderful.  I hope they continued at home!

And of course, we had our Trunk or Treat!  Even though it stormed and we had to move it inside, we still had a fantastic turn out and LOTs of FUN!!

Here are some pics and videos of the month...enjoy!
