We are wrapping up the school year! We did a lot of fun things in April to finish up our time together before summer starts. Our Kids Club wrapped up with a fun trip to the Alpaca Farm - they are so sweet!! (the kids and alpacas ;) This was after the Musical kids performed one last time at Long Home. They did awesome :) Even though it was chilly at the farm, we had a good time. Then, our TNT group had their first lock in!! That was awesome :) We kept busy with glow-in-the-dark games, snacks, an Escape Room, a movie and painting this cross in their re-decorated room! They did a super job.

In Sunday school they learned the story of Daniel and Lions Den! What a great story...how brave and faithful was Daniel?! What an example!

Our Prek/K class singing with Ms. Anne.
our 3rd grade class finished up the Old Testament
Our first and second graders also worked on the Lord's Prayer!
On the 4th Sunday we played Daniel games in the gym! Don't get thrown in the den!! :)
In May, we thanked our teachers <3 They are so dedicated to our kids and youth - I can't thank them enough!!
We also learned about Psalm 23 as we closed up our regular school year. Our third graders made it through most of the NT! The 4th and 5th graders were able to play ping pong in their "new" room after they did a difficult crytpogram on Psalm 23! Then, on Pentecost, we celebrated the church's 60th anniversary!! How exciting!
They also filled in the blanks to a Mad lib on psalm 23. Too funny :)
the 3rd graders looked at these beautiful stained glass pictures of Jesus' life.
We also welcomed our newest member to Highland's community! Welcome baby Oliver!!
It has been an awesome year. Thank you to everyone who went on this adventure with us! I can't wait for next year!! :)
